Region Östergötland operates three schools, which are gathered under the Regional Development Committee.

Vreta Education Center is located just outside Linköping, Himmelstalund Education Center is situated in Norrköping, and Lunnevads Folk High School is located between Vikingstad and Mantorp.

At Vreta Education Center, the Agricultural Program offers specializations in agriculture, equestrian studies, and forestry, as well as the Vehicle and Transport Program's transport specialization and the Vehicle and Transport Program's transport specialization for Professional Drivers and nationally recruited transport specialization for Recovery Drivers. National Sports Education (NIU) is offered in equestrian sports (dressage or jumping). Vocational adult education and higher vocational education are available in agriculture, equestrian studies, and forestry. Adapted upper secondary school offers the national program Forest, Land, and Animals.

Job Description

We need to strengthen our team with a forestry teacher. The assignment involves teaching students in the forestry specialization of the agricultural program both theoretically and practically. Examples of relevant subjects include: Forest Management, Agriculture, Forest Production, Nature and Landscape Management. Teaching in other subjects such as Motor and Chainsaw Operation and Forest Machines may occur depending on your qualifications. You should have a knack for collaboration and actively work towards the school's core values.

Work Group

You will organizationally belong to the Forestry Unit at Vreta Education Center, which consists of both teachers and instructors.

About You

Forestry higher education or equivalent and familiarity with modern working methods in forestry. A teaching license is an advantage. We value if you have worked with youth before. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability to perform the above-described tasks. You must hold at least a B driver's license.

You should have a strong interest in teaching young people and want to ensure that all students have the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. You are pedagogically inclined and can meet students both individually and in groups. You are flexible, goal-oriented, and can take your own initiatives. You are good at collaborating and have a professional approach.
